 Program Chair: Dr. John Palmer Arrangements Chair: Dr. Leila Kozak Convention Details FINAL PA PROGRAM The Annual PA Convention is an international gathering of scientists and scholars engaged in the study of psi
(or 'psychic') experiences, such as telepathy, clairvoyance,
psychokinesis, psychic healing, and precognition. The convention
features three days of papers and posters presenting the latest
academic research taking place in laboratories and research centers
around the world. PA conventions are open to the public, and host opportunities for attendees to discuss and exchange ideas. Donald Hoffman, Professor of Cognitive Sciences at the University of
California, Irvine, will be the banquet speaker on Saturday night. Professor Hoffman's areas of expertise
include Consciousness, Visual Perception, and the Mind-Body Problem. He is
the author of the book Visual Intelligence: How We Create What We See.
His talk entitled "Consciousness and the interface theory of perception"
will present a non-materialist solution to the mind-body problem. Banquet tickets are limited, so reserve yours today. Accommodations
